On September 4, in order to promote the development of industrial big data, gradually activate the potential of industrial data resource elements, and continuously improve data governance and security assurance capabilities, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology compiled the Guiding Opinions on the Development of Industrial Big Data (Draft for Comments) (hereinafter referred to as the “Opinions”). The “Opinions” requires that the collection and aggregation of industrial big data resources should be strengthened, industrial enterprises should be guided to carry out data resource cataloging work, strengthen data cleaning and preprocessing, improve data accuracy, completeness and consistency, and realize the visibility, manageability and usability of data resources. Support enterprises to build industrial big data integration platforms and big data centers to achieve the fusion and storage of multi-source heterogeneous data. Encourage enterprises to establish data quality management mechanisms, formulate standardized data quality assessment and supervision, response accountability, and process improvement plans, actively apply advanced quality management tools, and form a closed loop of data quality management.
